# Where we work.

Shepherd's Heart Counseling runs out of a single office in Siler City, and serves clients three different ways from there. The right format usually depends less on distance and more on who's coming and what kind of work you're doing.

In-person is the default for younger teens, EMDR and trauma work, and family sessions where several people are in the room reading each other. Telehealth is the default for busy parents doing their own work, teens who talk more freely from their own room, and anyone whose schedule doesn't survive a drive. Chatham County families sit in between — the page for that walks through how to choose.

All care is provided by John C. Murphy, MA, LCMHC (https://shepherds-he.art/about), licensed in North Carolina (#15133). Therapy is available only to clients physically located in NC at the time of session.

A small brick house on South 2nd Avenue in downtown Siler City. Warm rooms, real quiet, and the kind of space that makes trauma work, EMDR, and family sessions land more fully than they do on a screen.

Secure video sessions for any client physically located in NC. Best for busy parents, teens who talk more freely from their own room, and adults balancing work and childcare. Not right for younger children or acute crisis.
