I will help you transform chaos into connection.

I specialize in helping parents who feel overwhelmed and afraid of their child’s intense, defiant, or risky behavior, to regain control in their homes. With 17 years of experience, I’ve learned that it’s not about “fixing” your child—it’s about transforming the way you interpret, approach, and respond to them. I guide parents in creating a calm, structured home where children feel safe and parents feel empowered. By focusing on practical strategies and addressing the underlying dynamics, I help families move from chaos to connection and build a foundation where everyone can thrive. This is the work I do, and I’m here to help you do it too.

  • Children communicate through behavior—especially if they don’t have the words. I’ll help you decode your child’s actions while staying firm in your values as a parent. You don’t have to give in to defiance or chaos. Instead, we’ll create effective strategies to address negative behaviors and build the stronger, healthier relationship you want with your child.

  • When we were kids, we didn’t choose our circumstances or the hurtful experiences that shaped us. Those adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) often leave behind triggers that can resurface when raising our own children. Together, we can reprocess those wounds with your stabilized, adult brain, helping you parent with clarity and confidence.

  • I often hear, “My 5-year-old has ADHD and ODD.” While that may be true, many young children are simply reacting to their home environment and parenting style. I can help you address these factors and, when needed, provide support for your child’s mental health. Together, we’ll create a plan that empowers you to respond effectively and build a healthier dynamic at home.

  • Divorce, separation, or coparenting decisions are painful for children, often leaving them struggling with guilt, confusion, or a sense of responsibility. As a counselor, I am here to advocate for your child’s emotional well-being, helping them navigate this massive change while addressing the impact on their self-esteem and behavior. Children often respond to parent breakups with worsened behaviors, and some may seek stability in unhealthy friendships or relationships.

I believe children are not possessions to be divided for fairness—they are individuals deserving of a home environment that prioritizes their needs. While I support the 7th Commandment and pray for reconciliation whenever possible, my focus remains on helping your family find a new, more collaborative baseline where healing and understanding can begin.

I’m not here to make your child like or accept what has happened, but to support them in processing their emotions and adjusting to a new dynamic. Together, we can work toward a more peaceful and stable family environment.

  • Working with children, adolescents, and teens can feel overwhelming, especially in public schools, daycare settings, or behavioral programs. The behaviors you face are significant, and the lack of support from management or parents can leave you feeling frustrated and drained. I know how maddening it can be—I’ve been there. You’re not alone. Together, we can strategize practical solutions to help you manage these challenges, protect your emotional well-being, and create boundaries so you can leave work at work. Let’s find a way to make your job more manageable and rewarding.
