Who the adult client actually is here.
Many of the adults who come to Shepherd's Heart are parents, and much of what we work on has been pulled into focus by parenting — the anxiety that got sharper once there were kids to worry about, the anger that shocked you the first time it came out, the marriage that started fraying when the second child arrived, the childhood pattern you swore you'd never repeat and then did. But 'individual therapy' isn't a parenting service. Adults come for anxiety, depression, grief, a life transition that flattened them, unresolved trauma, a career decision, a relationship, a diagnosis they just received. The scope is your life, not just your household.
